Textual Analysis

 

The film clip I chose is one of my favourite movies called 'Eagle Eye'. 

Eagle Eye is a action, mystery and thriller which is aimed at audience teenagers to young adults.

the movie is set in Los Angeles, California. The movie is about 

Jerry and Rachel who are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move.

This movie can be watched online on websites such as Netflix or rented at stores such as blockbusters or bought online.

One of the reasons why I choose media studies is because I like the media field, and I enjoy watching different types of movies. I find it interesting to learn about how to produce your own trailers, movies and how to use Photoshop to edit pictures. One of my favourite directors is Tim Burton. I like most of his work such as: Edward Scissor Hands, The Nightmare before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and my all-time Favourite Dark Shadows. I think the way he displays such dark stories with humour and emotional feelings is interesting and funny, it really makes you think and wonder how he can come up with such gothic but loving stories.  Another reason why I like media is because there are many different areas in media as it has a big work field, so you can  pick which one you like the best and work with it .Also it never gets boring! I hope that I end up in the media business in the near future.
